    We experienced the worst customer service at De Loods we have had in a long time at any restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, I asked the staff whether they had a table for four. Apparently, I asked the wrong person because she told me rudely that I had to direct my question to the waitering staff. Subsequently, the waitress walked by two times and rudely told me they were busy. When I asked them whether they were going to attend to us and expressed to her that I did appreciate how we were being treated (rather not treated), she recommended we go eat somewhere else. We subsequently ate next door but returned to discuss the situation with the manager/owner. Unfortunately, the management of this establishment has no idea what customer service, let alone customer service failure recovery, is all about because we got plenty of excuses but not a mention of an apology. Frankly, a simple sorry would have done. If you want to be treated in a civil manner with some sense of urgency, I suggest you go somewhere else for dinner.
