La Scala in Wassenaar

First off all I love Italian food and am fairly critical of the quality. However, this place met and exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and the service was great. Three of us got different pizzas and there was only praise from each of us.

The ambience had a nice Italian feel to it and we were constantly being checked on by both our waitress and the cook/owner. He even allowed one of the younger ones in our group to help make his own pizza.

All in all it was a wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend to others.

P.S. The house wine is very good.
