Hanasato in Groningen

The restaurant is scandalous, shameless and dull. I will never return and will warn friends not to.

Very disappointing quality of food, rationed sauce, deep-frozen chicken, and plentiful misinformation on the menu -- teriaki becomes a drop of ordinary soy sauce and tuna sushi is a tiny layer of boiled tuna from a can stuck into some rice. Shameless.

The service is not only slow and very unhelpful but also unfriendly. When you enter the restaurant you are given no attention. In reply to a question whether the salad ordered a while ago will arrive soon the server remarked 'I have no idea, I have no influence'. When the tuna sushi made of boiled tuna from a tin was sent back the manager still charged for it and seemed eager to lecture on 'what is sushi'. Be careful with how tea is priced - one pot costs double if two people drink tea from it. The stuff speaks pidgin English and credit cards are not accepted. Scandalous.

Ordinary shopping-mall style Japanese fast-food decoration. Dull.
