I am from China and went to work in Netherlands.
After a tiring shopping day to decorate my house, my family and I went to eat at Batavia aan Zee.
I would like all of you to know that this is the best restaurant in Zandvoort.
The food is marvelous! Very mouth watering, outstandingly delicious.
We ate Soto Ayam as starter. Sate Ayam and Sate Makassar, Batavia grill, Nasi Kuning, Nasi Madura, Sayur lodeh, Batavia mix, and Soto Ayam as main courses and ended our meal with delicious kinderijsje for my three kids and wenadults drank Batavia Sling, a house coctail.
About the workers, they were all lovely and sweet, very attentive and make you feel at home while dining.
I would like to give my extra billion credits to Mr Tjhoen Ang for his amazing hospitality, kindness and making my family feel that it was completely worth it to eat at Batavia aan Zee.
We have gone there several times and each time, it was really worth it.
Their main branch Batavia Arnhem is equally astonishing. The main lady Yulia is very friendly. A very very bright lady, and very welcoming. She makes the best Chendol and Batavia sling!
Batavia aan Zee and Batavia Arnhem are the best two Indonesian restaurants in Netherlands. I have eaten in other Indonesian restaurants before, but unfortunately, they were not up to my standards like the two Batavia's.
Thumbs up for Batavia Crew!
Magdalena Ah Fong.
