Campo de' Fiori in Amsterdam

Yesterday we were at this restaurant with the family. We had no particular restaurant in mind. We parked the car and looked around for a pleasant restaurant serving food we like. This restaurant looked very nice from the outside and in the inside. Very nice ambiance, very good food, very friendly waiter. Unfortunately, an incident happen: a glass of red wine was spilled on my leg and in my daughter's bag as it was being served to my step-son. It was quite a big mess that took long to clean and, in a certain way, disturbed our dinner.

What surprised us is that no one from the restaurant management came to attend to us! The waiter was left to clean the mess and apologize. There was no gesture from the management to compensate for the discomfort and the damage. A free drink or a discount would had been at its place or an offer to pay the dry cleaning costs. Either there is nobody in charge there or having clients coming back or advising others to go back to the restaurant is not important. Enough tourists around...
